Greetings,
Help send a delegation of servers from across the
state to Jefferson City.
|
Currently, House Bill 258, which will cut the minimum wage
for Missouri's tipped employees from $3.52 to $2.13,
is making its way to the House floor.
On March 24, 2009 Jobs with Justice is sending a delegation
of servers from across the state to meet with legislators
in Jefferson City to tell them NOT to cut their wages.
We need you to TAKE ACTION RIGHT NOW:
Please make whatever
donation you can to enable Missouri Jobs with Justice
and its leaders to help waiters and
waitresses throughout Missouri protect their minimum
wage. |

Meeting Jobs with Justice
member and waitress, Dana Dreher(center), made all the
difference for State Representative Stephen Webber
D-Columbia and Representative Gina Walsh D-North St. Louis
County. Both Representatives are supporting waiters and
waitresses, and opposing the bill to cut their minimum
wage. |
