TAKE ACTION
NOW
URGENT!
Protect MO's Minimum Wage for Tipped
Employees
In 2006, 76.4% of Missourians voted to pass Proposition B to
raise the wage for ALL Missouri workers, including tipped
employees. Now, House Bill 258 is threatening to roll back the
minimum wage for tipped employees to that of 15 years ago.
We must act NOW! CLICK
HERE NOW, to tell the Missouri House of
Representatives that the citizens of Missouri want to protect
the wages of 53,240 tipped employees.
URGENT! Stop KSDK
from Mistreating Employees
Members of St. Louis Newspaper Guild/CWA Local 36047 at KSDK
are currently negotiating a new contract with management. KSDK
management is demanding a 15 percent wage cut from the Guild
members while management sees no cuts in pay.
Local 36047 is asking members of organized labor to call the
television station and ask management for an explanation. Union
members should call KSDK-TV President Lynn Beall at
(314)444-5265 or News Director Mike Shipley at (314)444-5131 to
demand that "management stop mistreating it's employees in the
name of higher profits."
