Dear brothers and sisters,

May Day is labor day throughout the world. On that day working people remember and honor the long and continuing struggle for jobs with dignity, and they mourn the sacrifices of the Haymarket martyrs in Chicago who were working men - both native born and immigrant - united around the demand for the eight hour day.

Come celebrate May Day 2009 in Kansas City and join with our immigrant brothers and sisters to demand respect for all workers rights including passage of the Employee Free Choice Act.
