The Florida AFL-CIO is the State Federation of over 450 affiliated local unions from 41 national and international unions representing a wide range of trades, professions and skills. We are proud to represent over 500,000 active and retired Florida workers and their families living in our state. We are dedicated to the strengthening and protection of our democratic institutions so that they truly serve the needs of our state’s working families. Our primary activities are political and legislative action, union member mobilization, and organizing support.
