Please show your appreciation for Texas members of Congress who are co-sponsoring the Employee Free Choice Act.  These lawmakers are standing tall for working families even as business interests spend millions of dollars to fight the proposal.

As a strong supporter of the Employee Free Choice Act, I am writing to thank you for your decision to become a co-sponsor of the legislation.

In these tough economic times, you clearly understand that labor unions are good for the national economy and are an essential component of the middle class. By agreeing to co-sponsor the measure, you are also stating clearly that you will not be intimidated by the bullying tactics of opponents who do not want workers to have a real choice on whether to join a union.

Your pursuit of passage of the Employee Free Choice Act is the strongest message you can send that working people in the U.S. deserve a chance to achieve dignity. Your willingness to stand tall for working families is worthy of commendation and reinforces anew my belief that you are a true friend of working people.
