TEXAS AFT LEGISLATIVE HOTLINE--TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27,
2009 Trick or Treatment? Submit Your Health-Care
Horror Stories Receiving medical treatment should
not be a scary thing. Unfortunately, for many Americans, it is.
Personal stories are the best tools of education for members of
Congress. They ought to know what is really happening to their
constituents. Take time
to share your personal "scary" health-care story with your
members of Congress.
As the legislation works its way through
the House and Senate, we'll be asking you to contact senators
and House members, so stay tuned.
For those of you who use Facebook, you can
post the following to get friends in the loop: "Trick or
Treatment? Receiving medical treatment should not be a
scary thing. Unfortunately, for many Americans, it is. Take time
to share your personal "scary" health-care story with your
members of Congress at: http://go.aft.org/hcstory."
