Fuccillo Organizing

Billy Fuccillo - owner of the Hyundai dealership in Syracuse with his ubiquitous "huge" ads - has illegally fired workers for trying to form their own union at the dealership. We need to send a message to Mr. Fuccillo that he should respect the law and agree to bargain in good faith with his employees.

Sample Letter for Campaign

Subject: Stop Acting Illegally!

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

A majority of the workers at Fuccillo Hyundai have exercised their right to form a Union by requesting that the UAW represent them.

I support the workers and will not consider buying another Hyundai vehicle from you or any other Hyundai dealer nor will I consider buying another vehicle from your other dealerships until you treat the workers with the respect they deserve, recognize the Union and negotiate a contract with the UAW and their members! I will encourage my family and friends to support this position. This community will not tolerate the exploitation of these workers stop denying them their rights.

Agree to work with these workers stop the harassment, firings and intimidation, stop acting illegally!

Background Information

As a community - we must stand up anytime an employer breaks the law when workers try to form unions. The Federal law is so weak and doesn't protect workers. That's why it's so important that we put pressure on this employer - as well as all employers - that our community will not tolerate union busting and illegal activity. We do that by sending a message now!
