The Carousel Mall expansion project is one of the most important economic development projects that Central New York has seen in many years. In order for our community to benefit the best from this project, it is important that projects like this one is done with the best local labor that our community has to offer. The best way to accomplish this goal would be to sign an agreement with the Central and Northern New York Building Trades Council.
Please sign an agreement that ensures that the project is done by trained local construction workers. Far too many projects in our area, workers are brought in from other areas of the country or the world to complete tasks that could be done better and faster by trained local labor. Don't be like one of those developers.
