As part of CLUW's partnership with the Pearl of Wisdom Campaign to Prevent Cervical Cancer, we are pleased to share with you a fun initiative, launching in September during Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month, to help raise awareness about cervical cancer prevention.

We are asking women to both wear their pearls to show support during September and submit a photo to the Pearl of Wisdom Campaign of themselves wearing their pearl (photos can be fun or serious). The Campaign will post each one in the campaign website's photo gallery and feature a selection on the campaign's homepage. Everyone who submits a photo will be eligible to win a fabulous prize when the promotion ends October 31:

  • Grand Prize: 1 winner will receive a handcrafted, multi-chain necklace with a pearl, created by Calico Juno Designs.
  • Second Prize: 2 winners will receive celebrity makeup artist Debra Macki's new Purple Eye Shadow Palette, an ultra-chic formula designed exclusively for Pearl of Wisdom campaign partner, The Yellow Umbrella.
  • Third Prize: 3 winners will receive a signed copy of ABC News Medical Correspondent Dr. Marie Savard's new book, "Ask Dr. Marie: Straight Talk and Reassuring Answers to Your Most Private Questions."
