Dear
UWUA Member,
Our nation's new leaders know the important role utility
workers play in building a better future for our country. UWUA
members in all sectors are in a good position to benefit from
the economic stimulus plan's investment in energy and
infrastructure. Now is the time for us to come together under
the banner of "Organizing for Our Future!" for the
first-ever Power for America National Conference April 22 - 24
in Las Vegas. As you will see by the attached agenda, we have
planned an exciting weekend for all of our disciplines:
professional/technical, electric, gas, water, nuclear, public
sector and call center. The goal of the conference is to share
knowledge, skills and tools to build UWUA power. I urge you to
register and join us at the conference. I look forward to seeing
you there.
If you haven't filled out the training survey on www.uwua.net, please take a few
minutes to do so now. Your input and ideas count.
Thank you.
Mike Langford
UWUA National President
