Hudson CLC Breakfast
An Action Alert from the Hudson County Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO
2009 Hudson CLC Scholarship Breakfast

On Sunday, October 25, 2009, the Hudson County Central Labor Council will sponsor the fifth annual labor breakfast honoring former Hudson County CLC President and New Jersey State AFL-CIO Secretary Treasurer Edward B. Pulver. All proceeds will benefit the college bound youth of our affiliates through scholarships. The H.C.C.L.C. would like to take this opportunity to thank the dozens of labor unions and many individuals across our great state in supporting our labor breakfast held last October. Nearly $15,000 was raised in support of our brothers and sisters children.

The labor breakfast will be held at the UNITEHERE! organized Crowne Plaza Hotel, 2 Harmon Plaza, Secaucus, from 9-11AM. This event is a great opportunity to rally our unions, as Brother Pulver would have loved. Invitations to Governor Corzine, U.S. Senators Menendez and Lautenberg, along with all of our labor friendly candidates and elected officials, are being sent.

Tickets for the labor breakfast can be purchased individually at $75.00 per ticket or $700.00 for a table of 10. Advertising journal space can be purchased and all other information is on the attached order form. If you can’t make it this year, a donation would be deeply appreciated.

The Hudson County CLC is asking for your attendance at our signature event of the year. Please join us as we fight for working families while helping to educate our youth, for they are our future.
