Struggling in the Beaver-Lawrence area?

Dear Working America Supporter,

Are you or someone you know unemployed, struggling to find work, or in need of assistance? If so, the United Way of Lawrence County and Beaver-Lawrence Central Labor Council are holding an informational meeting that can help.

When: This Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 7 p.m.
Where: IBEW Hall, 217 Sassafras Lane, Beaver, Pa.

You'll hear from:

a presenter from the New Castle School of Trades;
a presenter from the Penn State Beaver campus;
Maj. Richard Lyle for the Salvation Army;
the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank;
Jim Ferruchie, representative for Sen. Jason Altmire; and
Ken Jasper, representative for UC and Job Centers.

You'll also be able to obtain applications for assistance programs you might be eligible for.

Refreshments will be served, and the meeting should last about two hours.
