Help your fellow educators defeat I-1033!

You have heard by now how destructive I-1033 would be to all of education in the state of Washington. Can you reach out to 10 to 15 friends and ask them to vote against Tim Eyman's latest attempt to undermine our state?

Eyman's Initiative 1033 puts a straightjacket on state revenue by locking in the nearly $4 billion in reductions to pre-kindergarten through higher education, health care, parks and libraries, and other cuts the Legislature made during the last session. It will not only impact state government but will also become the baseline for all future spending at the city and county levels, too.

Things are bad enough. Low-income children and children of color are already waiting for investment in the programs they need like education, anti-hunger programs, access to health care and more. I-1033 will only make this situation worse. 

The most vulnerable people will suffer the most if I-1033 passes, but every child and family will feel the pain. Can I count on you to spread the word to your friends?
