Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and his corporate backers are tired of unions getting in the way each time they try to cut funds for our schools, hospitals, health care, infrastructure and public safety. The whole point of Proposition 75 is to shut us up and get us out of their way.

Prop. 75 would restrict political involvement by public workers and their unions, but would do nothing to limit big corporations. Corporations already outspend unions in national politics by a 24-1 margin. Prop. 75 would make this unfair imbalance even worse.

Please join the movement to defeat Prop. 75 and protect the voice of California’s workers by signing the following petition. Then send it to other Californians and urge them to sign it as well.

Prop. 75 is an attempt by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and his corporate backers to silence the voice of workers and their unions so they can cut funds for our schools, hospitals, health care, infrastructure and public safety.

California's workers--public and private employees--must have a strong voice in legislation, public policy and politics. Corporations already outspend unions by 24-to-1 on politics--and Prop. 75 would give Big Business even more political power and workers less.

We pledge to one another we will work to defeat Prop. 75 for the good of California by encouraging our friends, family and co-workers to sign this petition and join us in voting NO on this effort to silence workers and their unions.
