Speaking at a Building the New Economy conference yesterday, AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka said a revitalized manufacturing sector must be at the core of the nation’s efforts to rebuild our economy
.

Three Republican governors are pushing for Europe, not the United States, to get a Defense Department tanker contract. That way, the United States will get the low-paying assembly jobs and more corporate serfdom.
