Governor's budget calls for a cut of 490 members through program and sentencing reductions.
SB 5288 (Hargrove) reduces categories of offenders supervised, resulting in a series of cuts.
And, the March forecast is threatening even deeper cuts to state programs and DOC.
Our 40,000 members are now focused on saving DOC jobs.
