Increasing Organizing, Mobilizing, Legislative/Political Action and Community Involvement are the main priorities of this Council. The leadership of this Council sets its priorities as: assisting unions in organizing by utilizing its Voice @ Work Activities; mobilizing members to support other unions struggles; active programs in legislative and political action campaigns and is deeply committed to its community and community organizations. The Council is constantly upgrading its outreach to its leaders, delegates and members for their support in the struggles of unions in both Westchester and Putnam counties.
