Say NO to corporate control of our Internet!

Stop the Throttlers!

The Canadian Association of Internet Providers has asked the Canadian Radio-television Communications Commission (CRTC) to order Bell Canada to cease and desist its traffic-shaping practices that have been throttling consumers’ equal access to the Web. Please join us in supporting CAIP’s submission by telling the CRTC that it has an obligation to ensure net neutrality.
Do we really want Bell and Rogers to be able to tell us what we can and cannot view and do on the Internet?

Subject: Canadians demand neutral Net

Dear [ Decision Maker ] ,

The CRTC must act in the best interests of Canadians and force companies like Bell and Rogers to stop their Internet traffic-shaping practices. They must not be allowed to control our access to the Web or degrade the quality of service we pay to receive from our internet service providers.

Because Canada does not have strict enforceable net neutrality legislation, we must rely on the CRTC, as the federal communications regulator, to step into this vacuum and act in the public interest.

These corporations must be prevented from exercising such control over Canadians' access to the internet.

Sincerely,
